Lee Jun-fai ({{zh|t=李振輝|s=李振辉|p=Lǐ Zhènhuī|j=Lei5 Zan3 Fai1}}; born 16 December 1948), known professionally as Robert Lee, is a Hong Kong musician and younger brother of martial artist legend Bruce Lee, the brother-in-law of Linda Lee Caldwell, and also the paternal uncle of Brandon Lee and Shannon Lee.

Biography

Lee was born in 16 December 1948 in Hong Kong as the youngest son of Lee Hoi-chuen (李海泉), a leading Chinese Cantonese opera and film actor of the 1940s and his wife Grace Ho (何愛瑜). Specifically, Grace Ho was half Chinese and half Caucasian and purportedly a half-German Catholic. His elder sisters are Phoebe Lee and Agnes Lee and his elder brothers are Peter Lee and Bruce Lee.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7]

Lee was the founder of a popular Hong Kong beat band called The Thunderbirds. The Thunderbirds were a beat group similar to and on the same Hong Kong/Macau musical scene as Danny Diaz & The Checkmates, Zoundcrakers, Anders Nelson & The Inspiration, D'Topnotes and Teddy Robin & The Playboys.[8] He founded the group in 1966 and quickly became famous in Hong Kong.[9][10][11] A few singles mostly or all were sung in English. Also released was Lee singing a duet with Irene Ryder.[12]

He later moved to Los Angeles in the United States and stayed with his older brother Bruce. After Bruce Lee's death he released an album dedicated to him called The Ballad of Bruce Lee. A single of the same title was also released.[13]

In 1977, Lee married Hong Kong singer and actress Sylvia Lai (黎小斌), who was best known under the stage name of Sum Sum (森森), they later had a son named Clarence Lee Ka-ho (李家豪) in 1980. Lee and Lai divorced in 1983.

On 27 November 2005, Bruce Lee statue in Hong Kong was unveiled by Robert Lee, celebrating what would have been Bruce's 65th birthday. He is the producer of the 2010 film Bruce Lee, My Brother.
