She is a 2010 D.Sc. graduate of Robert Morris University.[1][2] and served as Deputy Commandant at the Eisenhower Resource College at the National Defense University in Washington, D.C. She has received numerous awards on her work with and advocacy for Africa small businesses and Africa Diaspora issues. Early life and educationSanders was born in 1954[3] and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia, and Master of Arts in International Relations and Africa Studies and a Master of Science in Communications Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.
