The Italian Catholic diocese of Trapani is in Sicily. It is a suffragan of the archdiocese of Palermo.[1]

History

{{expand section|small=no|date=February 2017}}Trapani was subject to the see of Mazzara, from the Norman Conquest until 1844, when the diocese was created. Its first bishop was the Redemptorist Vincenzo M. Marolda.[2]

Bishop Francesco Miccichè was removed on May 19, 2012 from the office of bishop of this diocese.
