He spent his whole professional career in Lombardy and Serie C2 (Italian 4th level). CareerBorn in Treviglio, The Province of Bergamo, Toma started his career 35 km away at A.C. Milan. After spent a season at Legnano, he was signed by Internazionale in a co-ownership deal. Along with Matteo Giordano, Simone Brunelli and Matteo Deinite moved to Inter, and Salvatore Ferraro, Alessandro Livi, Giuseppe Ticli and Marco Varaldi moved to A.C. Milan. Later the deal was criticized by press as made false profit to balance sheet, as the transfer fees was paid via player exchange, but in balance sheet, the nominal value could be adjusted by two clubs. The tactic is commonly used to make the transfer fees larger in Italian football.[1][2] He then remained at Legnano on loan until 2005.[3] In 2005–06 season, he joined Serie C2 newcomer Pergocrema, which his loan was later extended.[4] In June 2008, the co-ownership deal with AC Milan ended, which Inter now wholly contracted with Toma.[5] But he was released and joined Serie D side Solbiatese Arno.[6] He was released in July 2009.[7] References1. ^{{cite news|url=http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=400330&cc=3888|title=Inter and AC Milan chiefs face new probe|date=2007-01-17|accessdate=2010-01-25|publisher=ESPN Soccernet|agency=Reuters}} 2. ^{{cite news|url=http://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Primo_Piano/2007/01_Gennaio/20/plusvalenze.shtml|title=L'insulto: "Sei una plusvalenza"|date=2007-01-20|accessdate=2010-01-25|publisher=La Gazzetta dello Sport|language=Italian}} 3. ^{{cite news|url=http://www.inter.it/aas/news/reader?L=en&N=14622|title= YOUTH SECTOR TRANSFERS |date=2004-07-10|accessdate=2010-01-25|publisher=inter.it}} 4. ^{{cite news|url=http://www.inter.it/aas/news/reader?L=en&N=26826|title= Academy: one player in, three out |date=2007-07-16|accessdate=2010-01-25|publisher=inter.it}} 5. ^{{cite news|url=http://www.inter.it/aas/news/reader?L=en&N=29487|title= Transfer market: co-ownership deals |date=2008-06-25|accessdate=2010-01-25|publisher=inter.it}} 6. ^{{cite web|url=http://www.solbiatese.com/storia_02.html |title=La Fusione: SOLBIATESE ARNO CALCIO (a partire dal 2000/01) |accessdate=2010-01-25 |publisher=Solbiatese Arno Calcio |language=Italian |deadurl=yes |archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20100813124415/http://www.solbiatese.com/storia_02.html |archivedate=13 August 2010 }} 7. ^{{cite news|url=http://www.solbiatese.com/notizia290709.html|title=La Solbiatese al lavoro (a cura di Gabriele Voltolin)|date=2009-07-29|accessdate=2010-01-25|publisher=Solbiatese Arno Calcio|language=Italian}} {{Dead link|date=November 2010|bot=H3llBot}} External links
