Saatli is one of the upper neighbourhoods of Shusha established in the 19th century.[4] Being another produce of prominent Azerbaijani architect Karbalayi Safikhan Karabakhi, the mosque and its minarets follow the design of earlier mosques of Shusha, Yukhari Govhar Agha Mosque, Ashaghi Govhar Agha Mosque and the Agdam Mosque in Agdam. Saatli Mosque is considered one of the final masterpieces of Karbalayi Safikhan Karabakhi, built with two minarets.[5] The mosque has a three-naved prayer hall and brick minaret with especially patterned decoration specific to architecture of Karabakh.[4][6] Saatli Mosque has been renovated in 1980's. After the occupation in May 1992, it remains in ruins.[7] References1. ^{{Cite web| title = Plants Genetic Resources in Central Asia and Caucasus| url=http://www.cac-biodiversity.org/aze/aze_cities.htm| accessdate = 20 July 2010 }} {{Mosques in Azerbaijan}}2. ^{{Cite web |title = Shusha State Historical & Architectural Reserve |url = http://karabakhfoundation.org/regions/shusha/ |accessdate = 3 August 2010 |deadurl = yes |archiveurl = https://web.archive.org/web/20101004182205/http://www.karabakhfoundation.org/regions/shusha |archivedate = 4 October 2010 |df = }} 3. ^{{Cite web| title = Şuşa qalalar şəhəri, muzeylər məskəni idi | url=http://www.azerbaijan-news.az/index.php?Lng=aze&year=2010&Pid=4132| accessdate = 5 August 2010 }} 4. ^1 {{Cite web| title = Karabakh Foundation| url=http://www.karabakhfoundation.org/regions/shusha/| accessdate = 4 August 2010 }} 5. ^{{Cite web| title = The Wonders of Azerbaijan| url=http://www.7wonders-az.ru/index.php?ind=chud_full&id=28| accessdate = 3 August 2010 }} 6. ^{{Cite web| title = Saatli Mosque (Azerbaijan)| url=http://www.islamicarchitecturedatabase.org/ircica/index3.php?CountryID=4&CityID=177&TownID=&Priod=&Architect=&p_name=Insert+monument+name&imageField.x=40&imageField.y=12| accessdate = 4 August 2010 }} 7. ^{{Cite web |title = Karabakh monuments |url = http://karabakhmonuments.az/print_preview.php?id=42 |accessdate = 4 August 2010 |deadurl = yes |archiveurl = https://web.archive.org/web/20110706130822/http://karabakhmonuments.az/print_preview.php?id=42 |archivedate = 6 July 2011 |df = }} External links
