释义 |
Clark's international eventing career began in 1987 as part of the New Zealand Trans-Tasman Trophy team. She was short-listed for the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul but her horse Sky Command died. Clark had to wait 8 years to attend the Olympic Games and finished second to team-mate Blyth Tait in the individual Three Day Event. She won Gold with the New Zealand team the following year at the World Equestrian Games in Rome.[2] In 1999 she appeared on a postage stamp issued in Senegal.[3] References1. ^{{cite book |editor-last=Taylor |editor-first=Alister |editorlink=Alister Taylor |title=New Zealand Who's Who Aotearoa 2001 |year=2001 |publisher=Alister Taylor Publishers |location=Auckland |issn=1172-9813 |page=226}} {{1996 New Zealand Olympic team}}{{DEFAULTSORT:Clark, Sally}}{{NewZealand-Olympic-medalist-stub}}{{equestrian-bio-stub}}2. ^[https://archive.is/20121220141922/http://www.olympic.org.nz/Athletes/AthleteProfile.aspx?Print=&ContactID=504&id=3774 Biography at New Zealand Olympic Committee website] 3. ^Stamp featuring Clark, Colnect, com, Retrieved 8 April 2016 10 : New Zealand event riders|1958 births|Living people|Olympic silver medalists for New Zealand|Olympic equestrians of New Zealand|New Zealand female equestrians|Equestrians at the 1996 Summer Olympics|Sportspeople from Palmerston North|Olympic medalists in equestrian|Medalists at the 1996 Summer Olympics |
