The Sauquiot Spinning Company was a Gadsden, Alabama textile business which was acquired by the Standard Coosa-Thatcher Company

in March 1930. The firm operated with 20,000 spindles and was purchased for approximately $1,000,000.[1] As a subsidiary of the Standard Coosa-Thatcher Company, the plant weathered the Great Depression.

The mill continued to thrive as one of Gadsden's leading employers until the 1950s, when it closed along with the Dwight Manufacturing Company.[2]
