Prefectorial boardA group of students is selected by the principal, deputy principals, senior master and mistress, led by a prefect teacher and a head prefect, to maintain discipline within school and its events. They can be recognised by the white shirt they wear and their black shoes (instead of yellow shirt and white shoes for regular students). Prefects follow a weekly lunch time duty and a daily morning duty roster. There are almost 100 prefects in the secondary school. UniformStudents wear a pale yellow and dark green uniform. Male students wear a uniform of a yellow shirt with green pants, black school belt and school socks, while female students wear a yellow shirt, a green skirt and school socks. Both male and female students wear solid white shoes. Students are divided into five sport houses, each with a colour:
Sports and extracurricular activitiesThe school hosts an annual Sports Day at a stadium. The secondary school does a march past as well as cheerleading routines, and has its own marching band. There are sports events which include track and field events. Competition among sports houses is fierce, with a major portion of points allotted to performances in the March Past and Cheerleading routines. The house which wins these events usually ends up winning the overall house championship. A Sportswoman and Sportsman of the Year are also elected, and they usually open the Sports Day with the lighting of a flame. The school celebrates Hari Raya, Deepavali, Christmas and Chinese New Year, the major festivals of Malaysia. Cultural dances and events are held in the school compound on these days.
