}}{{Wikispecies}}{{Commonscat}} Scolochloa is a genus of grasses in the family Poaceae / Gramineae, now containing a single species, Scolochloa festucacea. Common rivergrass is a common name for the species.[3] Scolochloa festucacea grows in Europe, temperate Asia, and North America.[4][5][6][7][8][1][9] Its culms are erect and {{convert|100|–|150|cm}} in height; its leaf blades are {{convert|15|-|30|cm|abbr=on}} long and {{convert|5|-|10|mm|abbr=on}} wide.
