Several species, namely in Geosesarma, Metopaulias, and Sesarma, are true terrestrial crabs. The genera Chiromantes, Parasesarma, Pseudosesarma and Sesarmops are apparently not monophyletic. Scandarma may be a junior synonym of some other genus.[2][3] Selected species
