Lines

Shin-Shiraoka Station is served by the Tohoku Main Line (Utsunomiya Line) and the Shōnan-Shinjuku Line, and lies 45.9 kilometers from the starting point of the Tohoku Main Line at {{STN|Tokyo}}.

This station has an elevated station building with two opposed ground-level side platforms underneath, serving three tracks.

History

Shin-Shiraoka Station opened on 26 February 1987. With the privatization of Japanese National Railways (JNR) on 1 April 1987, the station came under the control of JR East.
