Simona-Iulia Matei (born 7 July 1985 in Brașov) is a former professional Romanian tennis player.

On 2 October 2006, she reached her highest WTA singles ranking of 145 and her highest WTA doubles ranking of 246. She has won 9 singles and 7 doubles ITF Circuit. She retired from tennis 2010.

She is coached by Michele Tellini.
