There is The Division of Agriculture (DAGRI) offers two programmes of study: Associate Degree (AD), and Certificate (CE). The duration of these programmes is 4 semesters (2 years) and 2 semesters (one year) respectively. The Certificate programme prepares students to undertake job responsibilities as commercial farmers or workers at agricultural institutions. The Associate Degree programme prepares students to undertake job responsibilities as senior technicians, middle management personnel, agricultural science teachers, commercial farmers or farm managers as well as providing a base for advanced agricultural studies at the Degree level. A second division of the college is the Division of Arts, Science and General Studies (DASGS) offers courses leading to the Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examinations (CAPE). The DASGS has also been known as 'A-Level.' The departments at DASGS include: Humanities, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, and Business. Third, there is the Department of Health Science (DHS) is one of the College's most popular departments, attracting a wide cross-section of applicants from across the island and region. Under this division, one can undertake the health aid, the general nursing, or midwifery program. Fourth, SALCC houses the Division of Teacher Education and Educational Administration (DTEEA) offers a variety of programmes from Advanced Diploma to Bachelors Degree. The division seeks to provide the necessary programmes for the continuous upgrade of the island's cohort of primary, secondary and tertiary educators and the foundation for those individuals desirous of entering the profession of educators. At the DTEEA you can enroll in the Primary Education Associate Degree Program or the Associate Degree in Education – Primary Education is offered under the aegis of the Joint Board of Teacher Education for the Eastern Caribbean. It is targeted at persons who intend to teach at the primary level of the education system. The programme is aimed at developing the participants’ academic and pedagogical knowledge, teaching competence, and personal qualities. The second option is to enroll in the Secondary Education Associate Degree Program. The Associate Degree in Secondary Education is offered under the aegis of the Joint Board of Teacher Education for the Eastern Caribbean. It is targeted at persons who intend to teach at the secondary level of the education system. The programme is aimed at developing the participants’ academic and pedagogical knowledge, teaching competence, and personal qualities. Thirdly, there is the Early Childhood Development (ECD) which promotes: - Help grow a child's future children need both male and female role, models and- Become an entrepreneurThe final division is the Division of Technical Education and Management Studies (DTEMS) which houses various departments: 1. Building Architectural Technology: Construction Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Building Services, Building Trades, Carpentry and Joinery 2. Business: Applied Arts - Business Administration, Applied Arts - Office Administration 3. Electrical: Computer Systems Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Installation 3. Hospitality: Food and Beverage Operations, Hospitality Studies, Travel and Tourism 4. Mechanical: Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Motor Vehicle Mechanics, Diesel Mechanics, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning The uniforms, dress codes, motto, rules and regulations, examinations and examination bodies, and general entry requirements to these divisions vary.
