This is a list of members who were elected to the 16th Dáil Éireann, the lower house of the Oireachtas (legislature) of Ireland. These TDs (Members of Parliament) were elected at the 1957 general election on 5 March 1957 and met on 20 March 1957. The 16th Dáil was dissolved by President Éamon de Valera, at the request of the Taoiseach Seán Lemass on 8 September 1961. The 16th Dáil lasted 1,674 days, and saw a change of Taoiseach from Éamon de Valera to Seán Lemass.
