The victims were Prudencio Custorio, Alvin Rapista, Ronie Mosqueda, Rogelio Piodo and Ruel Inampas. They suffered bruises and wounds, and the rescue team brought them to the Southern Philippines Medical Center. Mayor Inday Sara Duterte ordered construction stopped during the investigation. It happened during the time of armed crisis in Zamboanga City, which involved elements of the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF); however, the MNLF Davao Regional Command denied that they were behind the bombings. 2018 Electrical fireOn November 24, 2018, a burning electrical wiring due to overloading was spotted by guards, while a shopper, Juvanie Ladano Castañares managed to quickly extinguish it by throwing his slippers at the smoldering wire. The feat was caught on video by Ron Bongcayao Moncada and was shared in Facebook.[11][12][13] Although not publicized, Castañares was lauded by mall officials for his quick thinking.[14] References1. ^1 {{cite news|last=Castro|first=Albert|title=SM Mall sets VisMin expansion|url=http://archive.malaya.com.ph/2011/May/may30/busi3.html|accessdate=21 September 2012|newspaper=Malaya Business Insight|date=30 May 2011}} 2. ^1 {{cite web|title=Mall List|url=http://www.smprime.com/smprime/index.php?p=671&mall=31|publisher=SM Prime|accessdate=21 September 2012}} 3. ^{{cite web|last=Avellanosa|first=Nonoy|title=SM Ecoland Terminal in Davao|url=http://cebudavao.com/travel/sm-ecoland-terminal-in-davao/|accessdate=21 September 2012}} 4. ^{{cite web|title=SM City Davao|url=http://www.philippinecompanies.com/companyprofile/20162/sm-city-davao|accessdate=21 September 2012}} 5. ^{{cite web|url=http://edgedavao.net/the-big-news/2012/09/18/2nd-dfa-satellite-office-now-at-sm-city-davao/ |title=DFA opens 21st regional office in Pangasinan |publisher=Edge Davao |author=de Guzman, Vicky Berdina |date=18 September 2012 |accessdate=24 March 2019}} 6. ^{{cite web|title=The Annex SM City Davao’s Cyberzone Soft Opening March 9, 2012|url=http://www.davaolife.com/the-annex-sm-city-davaos-cyberzone-soft-opening-march-9-2012.html|accessdate=21 September 2012}} 7. ^{{cite news|last=Dura|first=Alger|title=Canopy collapses; 5 workers injured|url=http://www.sunstar.com.ph/davao/local-news/2011/12/15/canopy-collapses-5-workers-injured-196036|accessdate=21 September 2012|newspaper=Sun.Star Davao|date=15 December 2011}} 9. ^{{cite news|last=Paloma|first=Jereco|title=Canopy not in approved mall renovation permit|url=http://www.sunstar.com.ph/davao/local-news/2011/12/20/canopy-not-approved-mall-renovation-permit-196805|accessdate=21 September 2012|newspaper=Sun.Star Davao|date=20 December 2011}} 10. ^http://www.sunstar.com.ph/breaking-news/2013/09/17/blasts-hit-davao-city-malls-303669 11. ^https://coconuts.co/manila/news/human-fire-extinguisher-dude-puts-mall-fire-flip-flops/ 12. ^https://www.facebook.com/runelmoncada/videos/pcb.2214690948541239/2214690878541246 13. ^https://sea.mashable.com/culture/1273/move-aside-firefighters-this-filipino-super-man-can-put-out 14. ^https://www.facebook.com/9gag/videos/912417195631445 External links
