词条 | Sociology of film |
释义 |
The sociology of film deals with the sociological analysis of film.[1] According to a university class in it, the field includes "Contemporary cinema as a culture clue to social change; an introduction to the social forces involved in film-making in the United States and other cultures; the influence of films on mass and select audiences." [2] According to another university course, it covers "social aspects causes and consequences of the production, distribution, content, form and reception of film."[3] The New York Times said, "One problem, though, is that if the audience is the measure all things, then art becomes a reflection of sociology and dissecting audience tastes becomes the art."[4]References1. ^{{cite journal|last1=Morris|first1=Martin|title=[Review of ] "The Sociology of Film Art"|journal=American Journal of Sociology|date=Nov 1966|volume=73|issue=3|page=314|url=http://www.journals.uchicago.edu/doi/abs/10.1086/224308|accessdate=5 March 2017|doi=10.1086/224308}} 2. ^{{cite web|title=SOC 112 The Sociology of Film|url=https://bulletin.hofstra.edu/preview_course_nopop.php?catoid=59&coid=138010|website=Hofstra University Bulletin|accessdate=5 March 2017}} 3. ^{{cite web|last1=Hicks|first1=Alex|title=Syllabus|url=http://sociology.emory.edu/home/documents/profiles-documents/hicks-Soc325.pdf|website=Sociology of Film|publisher=Emory University|accessdate=5 March 2017}} 4. ^{{cite news |first=Edward |last=Rothstein |title=Is the Audience Being Rowdy? |work=The New York Times |date=May 27, 2000 |page=B.11f}} External links
