The country has participated in every subsequent edition of the Summer Paralympics, but has never entered the Winter Paralympics.[1] At the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London, Sri Lanka won their first ever Paralympic medal through Pradeep Sanjaya, who won the Bronze medal in the Men's 400 metres T46.[2] At the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio, Sri Lanka won a bronze. Dinesh Priyantha Herath was placed 3rd in the men’s javelin throw F46 final.[3] Both Pradeep Sanjaya and Dinesh Priyantha Herath are Sri Lanka Army personnel.[4][5] Medal table{{Medals table| caption = | team = Games | hide_rank = yes | leading = | gold_1 = 0 | silver_1 = 0 | bronze_1 = 1 | name_1 = 2012 London | gold_2 = 0 | silver_2 = 0 | bronze_2 = 1 | name_2 = 2016 Rio }} See also
