Namibia declared Success University illegal in 2008.[3] Ketan Hirani and Kalpesh Patel introduced the scheme in London in January 2008. Prior to Success University, they have also been involved with several other pyramid schemes run by Robert Fitzpatrick and Gurdeep Singh, including the Omi Club, VIP and MLI schemes.[5][6] Hirani and Patel have been banned from the University College London campus, following a speech there about Success University.[7] References1. ^{{citation needed|date=February 2018}} {{education-stub}}2. ^{{cite web|url=http://ftc.gov/os/comments/bizoprevised/comments/535221-00006.pdf.|title=Serious Problems with the FTC’s Revised Business Opportunity Rule|last=Taylor|first=Jon M.|publisher=Federal Trade Commission|pages=9|accessdate=2009-04-10}} 3. ^1 {{cite web|url=http://allafrica.com/stories/200810140914.html |title=Namibia: BoN Warns Against Pyramid Scheme (Page 1 of 1) |publisher=allAfrica.com |date=2008-10-14 |accessdate=2009-05-27}} 4. ^1 {{cite web|url=http://www.mmegi.bw/index.php?sid=4&aid=38&dir=2009/January/Friday16 |title=Mmegi Online :: Consumer Watchdog |publisher=Mmegi.bw |date=2009-01-16 |accessdate=2009-04-10}} 5. ^1 2 {{cite web|url=https://www.mirror.co.uk/advice/archive/investigates/2008/01/17/university-scheme-looks-like-a-pyramid-scam-89520-20288246/ |title=University scheme looks like a pyramid scam |publisher=mirror.co.uk |date= |accessdate=2009-04-10}} 6. ^{{cite web|url=http://www.crimes-of-persuasion.com/Crimes/Delivered/igennex.htm |title=Igennex, Perfect4U and One-Vision Buying Club Scam Pyramid Scheme |publisher=Crimes-of-persuasion.com |date= |accessdate=2009-04-10}} 7. ^1 {{cite web|url=https://www.mirror.co.uk/advice/archive/investigates/2008/01/24/success-university-fail-89520-20296066/ |title=Success University fail |publisher=mirror.co.uk |date= |accessdate=2009-04-10}} 5 : Pyramid and Ponzi schemes|Educational institutions established in 2005|Multi-level marketing companies|Companies established in 2005|Privately held companies based in Texas |
