R. Subburaman.[3] The film is based on Kasi Majilee Kathalu and it was simultaneously released in Tamil with the same name.[4] PlotOnce upon a time a warrior Prabhu (Akkineni Nageshwara Rao) & his friend Abbi (Kasturi Sivaram) are making a world tour to see the wonders of the world. At that point in time, Prabhu dreams about a beautiful girl Swapna Sundari and wants to make the dream come true by possessing her. In the journey, Prabhu gets acquaintance with a tribal queen Rani (G. Varalakshmi) while rescuing a deer from her arrows when she arrests him. Instead of punishing him she starts liking him. But Prabhu rejects her and escapes from her along with Abbi. At last, his dream comes true when Prabhu meets Swapna Sundari (Anjali Devi) who is an angel from heaven. She takes Prabhu along with her but the king says that humans cannot live in demigods country. Hence Swapna Sundari comes back to earth to live with Prabhu. Meanwhile, a wizard Pittala Rayudu (Mukkamala) who has a habit of catching hold of the woman and enjoys with her whole year. This time he catches Swapna Sundari. Prabhu in search of Swapna Sundari takes help of Pedarasi Pedamma who prays to Bhetala. Soon after, he enters into the fort of Pittala Rayudu, but he catches hold of him. Here Rani comes to know that Prabhu is in trouble, in the guise of a man she enters the fort and makes Prabhu release. Parallelly, Abbi in search of Prabhu also reaches there, with the help of a woman he comes to know the secrets of the fort. The combat starts in between Prabhu & Pittala Rayudu when Rani sacrifices her life for Prabhu. Finally, Pittala Rayudu is eliminated and the movie ends on a happy note with the marriage of Prabhu & Swapna Sundari. Cast
