In addition, it is also involved in the control of illness and disease in the country, coordinating the utilisation of resources and expertise where necessary. It is headed by the office of the Minister for Health, Gan Kim Yong. On 1 April 2019, HSA functions will be absorbed into Singapore Food Agency (SFA)[4] Statutory boards
