Miroslav Mikolášik (born 11 September 1952 in Dolný Kubín) is a Slovak politician and Member of the European Parliament (MEP) with the Krestansko-demokraticke hnutie, part of the European People's Party and sits on the European Parliament's Committee on Regional Development. He is a substitute for the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety, a member of the Delegation to the Euro-Mediterranean Parliamentary Assembly and a substitute for the Delegation for relations with Israel. He still lives in Dolný Kubín along with his wife. He has four children; three sons and one daughter. Education- 1972-1978: Charles' University (Prague), Medical Faculty
