Tati is a form of folk song sung with a single stringed Naga traditional musical instrument known as Libuh, invented and used by the Chokri -Chakhesang people Naga people since time immemorial. It is popularly sung by the Chokri Chakhesang Nagas and Angami Nagas [1] to sing traditional folk. The instrument -Libuh measuring about 3–4 foot in length is made of a dried carved-out Bottle Gourd. This Bottle Gourd is covered with thin film, such as the bladder of animals (originally) and attached to one end of a pole. A string is tied between the two ends of the pole over the film covered carved Bottle Gourd. Li is the folk song, Libuh is the single string instrument which accompanies Li and Tati is a form of Li expression. Li can be in expression other than Tati.
