词条 | Thomas F. Murphy (author) |
释义 |
His novel Edge of Allegiance is considered "insider" spy fiction. The novel is the fictional postmortem of a failed Cold-War HUMINT operation that the author calls the Bagatelle case. The cut line for the novel is "a twisting slide down the espionage rabbit-hole with a plot as intricately wired as a Cold War missile."[4] The locale and characters of the novel reflect the author's assignments in Brazil and Hungary.
