The Thomas More Society is a conservative[1][2] pro-life[3] law firm based in Chicago.[4] Their website describes them as "a not-for-profit, national public interest law firm dedicated to restoring respect in law for life, family, and religious liberty." The Thomas More Society defends and fosters support for these causes by providing pro bono legal services from local trial courts to the United States Supreme Court. The Thomas More Society has had two victories in 2003 (8-1) and 2006 (8-0).{{which|date=February 2016}} Thomas More Society has sought, from their perspective and those for whom they advocate, to ensure the First Amendment to the United States Constitution rights to free speech and association are secure and protected by law.[5] Tom Brejcha, Thomas More Society president and chief counsel, said: "Banding together with fellow citizens to advocate for the sanctity of each and every human life – born and unborn, wanted or allegedly 'unwanted' – are precious rights of all American citizens."[6] Selected cases
