A six-furlong sprint (1.2 km; 0.8-mile) raced on Polytrack synthetic dirt, it is open to fillies and mares, age three and older.[1][2] Inaugurated in 1981, it was a Listed Race from 1984 through 1987, then a Grade III event from 1988 through 2008. The race was elevated to Grade II status for 2009, and as of 2017, remains a Gr.II. Past winners
