It served the settlement of Thursford, where Station Road remains as a reminder. As part of the Norfolk Orbital Railway it is proposed that services may return to the station after a gap of more than half a century. {{Disused Rail Start}}{{Rail line|next=Melton ConstableLine and station closed |previous=Fakenham West Line and station closed |route=Midland and Great Northern|col={{MGNJ colour}} }}{{s-note|text=Future services}}{{Rail line|previous=Melton Constable Line and station closed |next=Fakenham Line and station closed |route=Norfolk Orbital Railway |col={{Norfolk Orbital colour}} }}{{s-end}} References1. ^British Railways Atlas.1947. p.18 See also
