It was aimed primarily at leaders, but welcomed students and people in their 20s. Each year, 5000 delegates from 50 nations attended the conference.[2] It was announced that the 2011 would be the last year in which the conference would take place in its present form.[3] In the future, Newfrontiers will function less centrally, instead adopted a model of multiple 'spheres'. Other mission conferences will be held in other nations, in due course. See also
