All-Stars consisted of chefs from the previous seven seasons who did not win the title of Top Chef.[1] It premiered on December 1, 2010, and concluded on April 6, 2011.[2] The cast was announced during the D.C. reunion special on September 22, 2010.[1] The prize money awarded to the winner of the season was {{US$|200,000|link=yes}}.[3] In the season finale, Chicago runner-up Richard Blais was declared the Top Chef, defeating Las Vegas contestant Mike Isabella.[3] New York runner-up Carla Hall was voted Fan Favorite.[4] Contestants18 past Top Chef contestants were selected to compete in Top Chef: All-Stars.[1]
