Topolná lies approximately {{convert|10|km|mi|0}} north-east of Uherské Hradiště, {{convert|15|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} south-west of Zlín, and {{convert|250|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} south-east of Prague. Near Topolna, there is a very powerful longwave broadcasting station, the Topolna transmitter. References
