The Transport Manager CPC (Certificate Of Professional Competence) are a range of qualifications designed for the UK transport and haulage industry. There are currently four qualifications offered by OCR: International Passenger Transport Level 3 International Road Haulage Level 3 National Passenger Transport Level 3 National Road Haulage Level 3 The courses above were combined in 2012 to form these two qualifiactions: CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) for Transport Managers (Passenger Transport) Level 3 CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) for Transport Managers (Road Haulage) Level 3 BackgroundTo attain a CPC, all candidates must pass or have passed the core module 1. Freight National is achieved after additionally passing modules 2 and 4, or passing modules 1, 2 and 4 together. Freight International is achieved by holding passes in modules 1, 2 and 4 and additionally passing module 6; or, passing modules 1, 2, 4 and 6 together. Passenger National is achieved by holding module 1 and passing modules 3 and 5; or, passing modules 1, 3 and 5 together. Passenger International is achieved by holding modules 1, 3 and 5 and passing module 7; or, passing modules 1, 3, 5 and 7 together. The examinations take place four times a year in March, June, September and December. Certificate of Professional Competence in National Road Haulage Level 3 - 05596This qualification is offered on behalf of the Department for Transport. You will find it suitable if you wish to enter the profession of Road Haulage Transport Management or demonstrate your professional competence to meet the Operator Licensing requirements. The qualification includes a range of subjects related to the business of Road Haulage Transport Management. The areas specified in EU Directive 98/76/EC are assessed. Your qualification will be assessed through a combination of multiple choice, and case study based unit examinations. The full qualification is awarded when you have passed the appropriate combination of units. In order to achieve a Certificate in Road Haulage, you must pass two papers, a multiple choice paper (R1) and a case study paper known as the (R2). External links
