It lies approximately {{convert|5|km|mi|0}} north of Łobez and {{convert|73|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} north-east of the regional capital Szczecin.[3] Trzeszczyna is a part of the sołectwo of Dalno.[4] The village has a population of 40.[5] The settlement developed as a result of fusion of the lands which belonged to a merchant from Łobez named Borchardt.[2] In Trzeszczyna there is a park, which is noted in the heritage register.[6] Before 1945 the area was part of Germany. Between 1975 and 1998 Trzeszczyna was a part of Szczecin Voivodeship.
