She was the daughter of Charles Frederick Lindsell and Frances Maude Elmhirst and lived at Dunchurch, Warwickshire, between 1917 and 1928. At the time of death she was living at Weston Sub Edge, Gloucestershire. At the time of the 1891 census she was living in Alnwick, Northumberland with her parents and an older brother.
