Entry was open to men's, women's and mixed lacrosse teams throughout New Zealand. The Open was held over the weekend of 26-27 January 2008, featuring Women's, Mixed and Men's Lacrosse games, as well as an exhibition game by the New Zealand National Woman's Team.
