He was born in Launceston, Tasmania Australia and started cycling with the West Tamar Cycling Club. He began his career with the Australian Continental Team Southaustralia.com-AIS cycling team and later joined {{ct|FDJ|2009}}. After three years with the team, Sulzberger moved to the {{ct|GEC|2012a}} team for the 2012 season.[1] He remained with the team until the end of the 2013 season, when he joined {{ct|DPC|2014}} for the 2014 season; he joined his brother Bernard, on the squad.[2] Career achievementsMajor results{{div col}}
