HistoryIt was founded in 2002 as Kharkiv-Kondytsioner. In 2004 the team joined FC Metalist Kharkiv and was renamed as Metalist Kharkiv. Due to conflict around Vitaliy Danilov and his removal from Metalist Kharkiv, in 2005 the female team joined the newly formed FC Kharkiv as Arsenal Kharkiv. At the end of 2005 it became apparent that FC Kharkiv cannot afford to finance female team. In 2006 the female team received financial support from the Kharkiv construction company "Zhytlobud-1" and was renamed after it as Zhytlobud-1 Kharkiv.
