It lies approximately {{convert|6|km|mi|0}} north of Łubnice, {{convert|12|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} south of Staszów, and {{convert|61|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} south-east of the regional capital Kielce.[4] The village has a population of {{increase}} 265. DemographyAccording to the 2002 Poland census, there were 264 people residing in Wilkowa village, of whom 51.9% were male and 48.1% were female. In the village, the population was spread out with 23.5% under the age of 18, 33.7% from 18 to 44, 17.8% from 45 to 64, and 25% who were 65 years of age or older.[5]
