He earned his postgraduate degree of Magister of Sciences in Electrical Engineering three years later. Bogdanović was a vice-president of the Democratic Party. For two decades, he had been engaged in telecommunications, first on research and development and later, on managerial jobs, first in "Pupin", and then in other companies engaged in this field. In 1989, he was appointed Director of the joint venture of Messrs. GTE Telecommunications and EI Pupin. Two years later, he became the Commercial Manager and, as of 1996, he had been the General Manager of Alkatel Pupin Jugoslavija. Bogdanović has been a member of the Democratic Party (DP) since 1992, which elected him the Chairman of Zemun Board as early as 1993, thereafter the Vice Chairman of the City Board and the commissioner for Belgrade. He also served as an MP in the National Parliament of Serbia.[1] Bogdanović was elected to office in 2004 and served until his death in 2007 of Hodgkin's Disease. Afterwards, Zoran Alimpić became acting Mayor of Belgrade, and was eventually succeeded by Dragan Đilas. See also
