The station is currently licensed to Gulf Coast Broadcasting Under its previous name, "Kickin' Country 103.5", it featured "The Gulf Coast Morning Show with Flip & Streeter". Personalities included Melissa Miller, Brad McKay and Jay Arthur,[1][2][3] with additional programming from Premiere Radio Networks and Westwood One.[4] In the aftermath of Hurricane Michael, Powell Broadcasting announced that it would cease operation of its Panama City stations, leaving the future of its licenses in the market in limbo.[5] WKNK and its two sisters were sold to Gulf Coast Broadcasting in December 2018.[6] WKNK returned to the air on January 23, 2019, returning to its previous branding as 103.5 Hank FM.
