The Wright Eclipse Fusion is a low floor articulated single-decker bus body built on the Volvo B7LA chassis by Wrightbus. It was the articulated version of the Wright Eclipse, succeeding the Wright Fusion.

Of the 88 produced, FirstGroup purchased 67 with the other 21 going to Dublin Bus.^[1]

In October 2001, two were sent from First Hampshire & Dorset to First London's Greenford garage to operate a six month trial on route 207. These being (Y151 ROT) which received full First London livery, and (Y152 ROT) which remained in Barbie livery, along with four Wright Fusions (V606 GGB), (V607 GGB), (V608 GGB) and (V610 GGB) from Glasgow which also joined the pair in London.

Both Eclipse Fusions were later sent to Manchester to work on Routes 135 and 471 for a brief time, then were sent to Glasgow where Y151 ROT caught fire and was scrapped along with Y152 ROT.^[2]^[3]

Later FirstGroup partnered with Wrightbus in developing the Wright StreetCar, which is built on a modified version of the chassis used for the Eclipse Fusion. Most of the Eclipse Fusions are similar in appearance to its Wrightbus single deckers with the arched roof.
