{{Chinese name|Wu}}Wu Wenguang 吴文光 (born 1956 in Yunnan) is a Chinese independent documentary filmmaker. He is known internationally as one of the founding figures of Chinese independent documentary. His first film, The Last Dreamers, featured a large amount of handheld camerawork and unscripted interviews. This was a stark contrast to Chinese documentaries produced previously, which were generally carefully planned and controlled.[1]References1. ^{{Cite journal|title=Wu Wenguang: An Introduction|journal=Cinema Journal|date=Fall 2006|first=Chris|last=Berry|coauthors=|volume=46|issue=1|pages=133–136|id= |url=|format=|doi=10.1353/cj.2007.0000 }}
