Miss Ecuador 2005An architecture student, Zamora was crowned Miss Ecuador 2005 in March 2005. Social workAs Miss Ecuador, Zamora visited the center for children with disabilities "Despertar de los Angeles" in Riobamba. Invited by the Mayor, she participated in the traditional parade of El Rodeo.[2] On 10 August 2005, she visited Los Angeles and was part of the Ecuadorian delegation that saw the mayor of Los Angeles make the proclamation of the week for Ecuador. She traveled to LA invited by the Community of Ecuadorians living in Los Angeles.[2] She also visited the cities of Cuenca, Tena, Latacunga, Riobamba, Guayaquil, Loja, Macas, Quito, Machala, Manta, Ambato Pujilí, Otavalo, Sto.
