It was named for Pierre Bostonais aka Tête Jaune.[1][2] The mountain has four officially named summits: Bingley Peak, Leather Peak, Lucerne Peak, and Tête Roche. ClimateBased on the Köppen climate classification, ellowhead Mountain is located in a subarctic climate with cold, snowy winters, and mild summers.[3] Temperatures can drop below −20 °C with wind chill factors below −30 °C.
