Situated at the Turkey-Greece border, the village is {{convert|25|km|mi|abbr=on}} away from İpsala and {{convert|100|km|mi|abbr=on}} far from Edirne. Population of İbriktepe is 1.492 as 2012.[2] İbriktepe is famous for having been the birthplace of Albanian politician and founder of the Albanian Orthodox Church, Fan Noli.
