It was the Tigers' 59th overall and 18th season as a member of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The team was led by head coach Earl Brown, in his third year, and played their home games at Cliff Hare Stadium in Auburn and the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery, Alabama. They finished winless with a record of zero wins and ten losses (0–10 overall, 0–7 in the SEC). In the February that followed the completion of the season, Brown was fired as head coach of the Tigers.[1] Schedule{{CFB schedule| rankyear = 1950 | poll = AP |{{CFB schedule entry | date = September 22 | w/l = l | nonconf = y | rank = | opponent = {{cfb link|year=1950|team=Wofford Terriers|title=Wofford}} | site_stadium = Cramton Bowl | site_cityst = Montgomery, Alabama | score = 14–19 }} |{{CFB schedule entry | date = September 30 | w/l = l | away = y | rank = | opponent = Vanderbilt | site_stadium = Dudley Field | site_cityst = Nashville, Tennessee | score = 0–41 }} |{{CFB schedule entry | date = October 7 | w/l = l | nonconf = y | rank = | opponent = {{cfb link|year=1950|team=Southeastern Louisiana Lions|title=Southeastern Louisiana}} | site_stadium = Cliff Hare Stadium | site_cityst = Auburn, Alabama | score = 0–6 }} |{{CFB schedule entry | date = October 14 | w/l = l | away = y | rank = | opponent = Florida | gamename = Rivalry | site_stadium = Florida Field | site_cityst = Gainesville, Florida | score = 7–27 }} |{{CFB schedule entry | date = October 21 | w/l = l | away = y | rank = | opponent = Georgia Tech | site_stadium = Grant Field | site_cityst = Atlanta | score = 0–20 }} |{{CFB schedule entry | date = October 28 | w/l = l | rank = | opponent = Tulane | site_stadium = Cliff Hare Stadium | site_cityst = Auburn, Alabama | score = 0–28 }} |{{CFB schedule entry | date = November 4 | w/l = l | away = y | rank = | opponent = Mississippi State | site_stadium = Scott Field | site_cityst = Starkville, Mississippi | score = 0–27 }} |{{CFB schedule entry | date = November 18 | w/l = l | neutral = y | rank = | opponent = Georgia | gamename = Deep South's Oldest Rivalry | site_stadium = Memorial Stadium | site_cityst = Columbus, Georgia | score = 10–12 }} |{{CFB schedule entry | date = November 25 | w/l = l | nonconf = y | rank = | opponent = Clemson | opprank = 11 | site_stadium = Cliff Hare Stadium | site_cityst = Auburn, Alabama | score = 0–41 }} |{{CFB schedule entry | date = December 2 | w/l = l | neutral = y | rank = | opponent = Alabama | opprank = 17 | gamename = Iron Bowl | site_stadium = Legion Field | site_cityst = Birmingham, Alabama | score = 0–34 }} }}
