SummaryRoss County finished first in the Second Division[5] and were promoted to the First Division.[4] They reached the second round of the Challenge Cup,[6] the second round of the League Cup[7] and the fifth round of the Scottish Cup.[8] ManagementThe club started the 2007–08 season under the management of Dick Campbell,[9] who had been appointed during pre season following the resignation of Scott Leitch.[10] On 2 October 2007,[11] Campbell was sacked as manager[12] with player coach Derek Adams being appointed as temporary manager.[13] Adam's position was made permanent in November.[14]
