The Bulldogs played their home games at Joe Aillet Stadium in Ruston, Louisiana and competed in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC). They finished the regular season with an 8–4 overall record and a 6–1 record in WAC play to win the 2011 Western Athletic Conference title.
