The season was to begin in the final week of September in Lahore but due to an outbreak of dengue fever, the tournament was shifted to Karachi instead.[1] The winning team received ₨ 2.5 million as prize money and while the runners-up received ₨ 1 million.[2] Venue21 matches were played at National Stadium, Karachi.
