Miller Field, on the campus of Norfolk State University in Norfolk, VA. It was an eight-team double elimination tournament. {{CBSB link|year=2014|team=Bethune-Cookman Wildcats|title=Bethune-Cookman}} won their fourteenth tournament championship to claim the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference's automatic bid to the 2014 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. Bethune-Cookman has claimed fourteen of the sixteen tournament championships, with Savannah State winning in 2013 and North Carolina A&T earning the 2005 title.[1][2] Format and seedingThe four teams in the North Division and top four finishers from the South Division were seeded one through four based on regular season records, with first round matchups of the top seed from the North and the fourth seed from the South, the second seed from the North against the third seed from the South, and so on. The winners advanced in the winners' bracket, while first round losers play elimination games. The format means that one team from the South, {{CBSB link|year=2014|team=North Carolina A&T Aggies|title=North Carolina A&T}}, was left out of the field.
Rain forced adjustments in the schedule, with all three third round games postponed by one day to Saturday.[3] Bracket{{8Team2ElimBracket| RD1-seed1=1S | RD1-team1={{CBSB link|year=2014|team=Bethune-Cookman Wildcats|title=Bethune-Cookman}} | RD1-score1=4 | RD1-seed2=4N | RD1-team2={{CBSB link|year=2014|team=Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks|title=Maryland Eastern Shore}} | RD1-score2=0 | RD1-seed3=2N | RD1-team3={{CBSB link|year=2014|team=Norfolk State Spartans|title=Norfolk State}} | RD1-score3=6 | RD1-seed4=3S | RD1-team4={{CBSB link|year=2014|team=North Carolina Central Eagles|title=North Carolina Central}} | RD1-score4=1 | RD1-seed5=2S | RD1-team5={{CBSB link|year=2014|team=Florida A&M Rattlers|title=Florida A&M}} | RD1-score5=10 | RD1-seed6=3N | RD1-team6={{CBSB link|year=2014|team=Coppin State Eagles|title=Coppin State}} | RD1-score6=0 | RD1-seed7=1N | RD1-team7=Delaware State | RD1-score7=4 | RD1-seed8=4S | RD1-team8={{CBSB link|year=2014|team=Savannah State Tigers|title=Savannah State}} | RD1-score8=8 | RD2-seed1=1S | RD2-team1=Bethune-Cookman | RD2-score1=10 | RD2-seed2=2N | RD2-team2=Norfolk State | RD2-score2=2 | RD2-seed3=2S | RD2-team3=Florida A&M | RD2-score3=6 | RD2-seed4=4S | RD2-team4=Savannah State | RD2-score4=14 | RD3-seed1=1S | RD3-team1=Bethune-Cookman | RD3-score1=16 | RD3-seed2=4S | RD3-team2=Savannah State | RD3-score2=6 | RD1-seed9=4N | RD1-team9=Maryland Eastern Shore | RD1-score9=5 | RD1-seed10=3S | RD1-team10=North Carolina Central | RD1-score10=10 | RD1-seed11=3N | RD1-team11=Coppin State | RD1-score11=6 | RD1-seed12=1N | RD1-team12=Delaware State | RD1-score12=1 | RD2-seed5=2N | RD2-team5=Norfolk State | RD2-score5=10 | RD2-seed6=3S | RD2-team6=North Carolina Central | RD2-score6=1 | RD2-seed7=2S | RD2-team7=Florida A&M | RD2-score7=11 | RD2-seed8=3N | RD2-team8=Coppin State | RD2-score8=6 | RD3-seed3=2N | RD3-team3=Norfolk State | RD3-score3=6 | RD3-seed4=2S | RD3-team4=Florida A&M | RD3-score4=3 | RD4-seed1=4S | RD4-team1=Savannah State | RD4-score1=0 | RD4-seed2=2N | RD4-team2=Norfolk State | RD4-score2=5 | RD5-seed1=1S | RD5-team1=Bethune-Cookman | RD5-score1a=4 | RD5-score1b=— | RD5-seed2=2N | RD5-team2=Norfolk State | RD5-score2a=2 | RD5-score2b=— }} All-Tournament TeamThe following players were named to the All-Tournament Team.[2]
