}} ScheduleTexas A&M announced their 2015 football schedule on October 14, 2014. The 2015 schedule consist of 9 games in the state of Texas and 3 games outside of the state in the regular season. Two of the nine games in Texas are neutral games against Arizona State and Arkansas. Texas A&M will host SEC foes Alabama, Auburn, Mississippi State, and South Carolina, and will travel to LSU, Ole Miss, and Vanderbilt.[5] This will be the Aggies' first year without Missouri since 2009 and SMU since 2010 on their schedule. The Aggies' 25-0 shutout of Vanderbilt on November 21 was Texas A&M's first shutout victory since joining the SEC in 2012. The Aggies had not shut out a team since a 31-0 victory over Wyoming on September 11, 2004, and had not shut out a conference opponent since a 41-0 victory over Baylor on October 12, 2002. {{CFB schedule| rankyear = 2015 | poll = AP Poll released prior to game | timezone = Central |{{CFB schedule entry | date = September 5 | time = 6:00 p.m. | w/l = w | nonconf = y | neutral = y | rank = | opponent = Arizona State | opprank = 15 | gamename = Texas Kickoff | site_stadium = NRG Stadium | site_cityst = Houston, TX | tv = ESPN | score = 38–17 | attend = 66,308 }} |{{CFB schedule entry | date = September 12 | time = 6:00 p.m. | w/l = w | nonconf = y | rank = 16 | opponent = Ball State | site_stadium = Kyle Field | site_cityst = College Station, TX | tv = ESPNU | score = 56–23 | attend = 104,213 }} |{{CFB schedule entry | date = September 19 | time = 11:00 a.m. | w/l = w | nonconf = y | rank = 17 | opponent = Nevada | site_stadium = Kyle Field | site_cityst = College Station, TX | tv = SECN | score = 44–27 | attend = 102,591 }} |{{CFB schedule entry | date = September 26 | time = 6:00 p.m. | w/l = w | neutral = y | rank = 14 | opponent = Arkansas | gamename = Southwest Classic | site_stadium = AT&T Stadium | site_cityst = Arlington, TX | tv = ESPN | score = 28–21 | overtime = OT | attend = 67,339 }} |{{CFB schedule entry | date = October 3 | time = 6:30 p.m. | w/l = w | rank = 14 | opponent = Mississippi State | opprank = 21 | site_stadium = Kyle Field | site_cityst = College Station, TX | tv = SECN | score = 30–17 | attend = 104,455 }} |{{CFB schedule entry | date = October 17 | time = 2:30 p.m. | w/l = l | rank = 9 | opponent = Alabama | opprank = 10 | site_stadium = Kyle Field | site_cityst = College Station, TX | tv = CBS | score = 23–41 | attend = 105,733 }} |{{CFB schedule entry | date = October 24 | time = 6:00 p.m. | w/l = l | away = y | rank = 15 | opponent = Ole Miss | opprank = 24 | site_stadium = Vaught–Hemingway Stadium | site_cityst = Oxford, MS | tv = ESPN | score = 3–23 | attend = 60,674 }} |{{CFB schedule entry | date = October 31 | time = 11:00 a.m. | w/l = w | rank = | opponent = South Carolina | site_stadium = Kyle Field | site_cityst = College Station, TX | tv = SECN | score = 35–28 | attend = 102,154 }} |{{CFB schedule entry | date = November 7 | time = 6:30 p.m. | w/l = l | rank = 25 | opponent = Auburn | site_stadium = Kyle Field | site_cityst = College Station, TX | tv = SECN | score = 10–26 | attend = 104,625 }} |{{CFB schedule entry | date = November 14 | time = 6:00 p.m. | w/l = w | nonconf = y | rank = | opponent = Western Carolina | site_stadium = Kyle Field | site_cityst = College Station, TX | tv = ESPNU | score = 41–17 | attend = 101,583 }} |{{CFB schedule entry | date = November 21 | time = 6:30 p.m. | w/l = w | away = y | rank = | opponent = Vanderbilt | site_stadium = Vanderbilt Stadium | site_cityst = Nashville, TN | tv = SECN | score = 25–0 | attend = 32,482 }} |{{CFB schedule entry | date = November 28 | time = 6:30 p.m. | w/l = l | away = y | rank = | opponent = LSU | gamename = rivalry | site_stadium = Tiger Stadium | site_cityst = Baton Rouge, LA | tv = SECN | score = 7–19 | attend = 101,803 }} |{{CFB schedule entry | date = December 30 | time = 6:00 p.m. | w/l = l | nonconf = y | neutral = y | rank = | opponent = Louisville | gamename = Music City Bowl | site_stadium = Nissan Stadium | site_cityst = Nashville, TN | tv = ESPN | score = 21–27 | attend = 50,478 }} }} Schedule Source:[6] Coaching staff

The game was the home opener for A&M, and the first game in the newly renovated Kyle Field. The Aggies were dominant throughout the entire first half, with the exception being Ball State's first drive to A&M's 4 yard line.[8] {{Clear}}Nevada{{Linescore Amfootball||Road=Wolfpack |R1=7 ||R2=3 ||R3=10 ||R4=7 ||RT=27 |Home=#17 Aggies |H1=14 ||H2=10 ||H3=14 ||H4=6 ||HT=44 }}
