The 2015–16 Calcutta Premier Division season was the 117th season of the Calcutta Premier Division, a state league within the Indian state of West Bengal. The league was divided into two divisions - Group A and Group B. The Championship title was awarded only to the Group A winner, while four teams from Group A were relegated to Group B at the end of the season and 4 teams from Group B were simultaneously promoted to Group A for the next season. The fixtures of Group A were kicked off on 4 August 2015, while the fixtures for Group B were kicked off on 22 August 2015.[1][2]

East Bengal won the title for a record 37th time and also created a record by clinching the title for the 6th consecutive time.
